Two kinds of sessions, one château

Whether you're running a full production or looking for a quiet couple's session, here's how each works at Lasfargues.

Commercial & Brand Shoots

Full exclusive-use access to the château's interiors and grounds for advertising, editorial, product, and brand campaigns — as well as film and TV location work. A genuinely varied backdrop in one location, no multi-site scouting required.

Couples or Artistic Shoots

Photographer and subject(s) only — a quiet, unhurried private session across the grounds and gardens. Pre-marital and engagement shoots, maternity shoots, or simply a photographer wanting exclusive use of the location for their own creative work.

WHY SHOOT HERE

Six distinct backdrops, one location

From weatherproof interior spaces to quiet lakeside corners, here's what each part of the château offers as a photoshoot location.

The grand facade approach — formal, symmetrical, unmistakably château. Wide open space in front of the building makes it easy to shoot the full exterior, or bring vehicles right up for product and automotive work.

La Cour d'Honneur

The Interiors

Traditional French character throughout, blended with fresh, modern interiors. Eight individually styled bedrooms and generous living spaces give a shoot plenty of variety without leaving the building.

L’Orangerie

A flexible indoor-outdoor space with arched windows — natural light, minimal dressing required. Weatherproof and enclosed, it's a reliable backup or main set whatever the forecast does. 5 × 20m approx.

La Terrasse

South-facing and sun-warmed, with a shade sail for controlling light through the day. Wide enough for a full crew setup, with the château side facade or lake and kitchen gardens as backdrop depending on which way you shoot.

La Fontaine

A historic monument at the edge of the grounds — a quiet, elegant backdrop. Shaded by century-old cedar trees, it's set apart from the rest of the property for a more private, contained setup.

The Pool

A 12m x 6m heated pool with timber decking — sun-drenched and ideal for anything wanting water in frame. Closed through the winter months, so best suited to spring through autumn shoots.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

What producers need to know

  • The château is yours alone for the shoot, never shared with other guests.

  • Plenty of space for a van or truck.

  • Good access throughout for lighting and equipment.

  • Plenty of bedrooms available for changes and styling.

  • Good kitchen access for crew or catering teams.

  • 20 people on site, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

  • Production must hold public liability insurance (minimum €2,000,000 cover), certificate provided ahead of the shoot.

Day Rates

  • 4 hours, perfect for couples, maternity and personal shoots. €500

  • Up to 10 hours in one day. Ideal for brand or commercial shoots. €950

  • Per hour beyond full-day — waived for multi-day bookings. €100 / hr

Shoot rates do not include overnight accommodation or bed use. Full commercial photoshoot terms — covering image usage rights, deposit, and cancellation — provided at enquiry.
