In some instances, at our discretion, the security amount is pre-authorised on your card the day before arrival and released five days after departure. A pre-authorisation isn't a charge — no money leaves your account unless there's damage or a breach of the booking terms, in which case we'd discuss it with you before deducting anything.

The Property
-
A: Up to 15 guests across eight individually styled bedrooms on three levels, with seven bathrooms. Groups of ten to fifteen are our sweet spot, but smaller parties of six or eight book regularly too — close off the top floor and the château settles around a smaller group rather than feeling cavernous.
Two cots, a toddler bed, a change table and two high chairs are provided for infants, who don't count toward the fifteen.
Bed configurations flex: several rooms take a double plus a single, so we can usually match the mix of adults, couples and children in your group.
For day retreats and celebrations we host well beyond overnight capacity — up to 35 guests for a celebration.
If you wish to host more than 15 guests, please send us an enquiry.

-
A: Our standard capacity is 15 guests, but the château offers real flexibility in how that's arranged — many of our rooms comfortably sleep more than two, so groups of friends or extended family sharing a room (not just couples) is common, not the exception. If your group's needs don't fit neatly into a standard enquiry, get in touch and we're happy to talk through what's possible for your dates.
Celebrations
-
A: We host intimate celebrations of 35 guests or fewer.
-
A: We've deliberately kept our celebrations intimate — capped at 35 guests — to be considerate neighbours in what is otherwise a quiet, rural setting. Château Lasfargues sits among working farms and a handful of private homes and gîtes, and keeping our gatherings small means every celebration still feels personal, without the scale or noise that would disrupt the peaceful community around us.
-
A: We don't offer set packages, but we're happy to share our preferred suppliers list — caterers, florists, and other vendors we recommend and trust. For anyone planning a destination celebration, we'd generally suggest working with an event planner to help bring your specific vision together; we're glad to point you in the right direction if you need a recommendation.
Retreats
