Past Celebrations at Château Lasfargues

Diane & Alan's celebration was a combination of chic elements, a rustic country vibe, and a fairytale atmosphere. Planned by Peach Perfect Weddings, shot by Saša Adamović.

‍Over the years, Château Lasfargues has hosted a number of dreamy celebrations — captured beautifully by professional photographers who were there on the day. We've gathered a few of our favourites below for inspiration.

A note before you dive in: our current celebrations capacity is intimate by design — 35 guests or fewer — so these stories reflect the château's history rather than what we offer today.

Sophie and Courtney

Sophie & Courtney’s wedding, shot by Valentina Weddings.

‍UK destination wedding photographer Valentina Weddings documented Sophie and Courtney's celebration at the château, describing a relaxed, high-spirited day that made full use of the grounds — from the château's gardens through to an evening reception with a stunning sunset. You can read the full “Real Weddings” feature and see the photography on Vow.co.uk.

“We had the whole day here but it has many different areas to use throughout the day.  Our ceremony was down in the woods where there is a natural aisle between the trees and a historic well where the Celebrant held the service.

We had drinks on the terrace over loving the lake and finally had our meal on the lawn at the front of the chateau where there was also a marquis and dance floor. It’s the most picturesque and fairytale venue but in a French slightly modern style.”

Lucy and Damien

Birmingham-based photographer Kate Jackson captured Lucy and Damien's elopement at the château one autumn — a relaxed, low-key day built around good food and time with the people they loved most, rain and all. The full story and photo set are on Kate Jackson Photography's site.

“I loved photographing at Chateau Lasfargues, it was a total dream to shoot in. The surroundings are completely stunning and the building is so pretty. They chose to elope to France for the nice food, wine and weather and because it meant they could have a holiday with everyone they love too.” ‍

Diane and Alan

‍Featured by Peach Perfect Weddings, Diane and Alan's September celebration made full use of the golden hour — a sunset ceremony on the front lawn, giant trees lining the approach, followed by a private couple's session down at the lake and among the vineyards. “‍There was no other choice for them but a French chateau hidden within the woodlands for their big day. Their celebration was a combination of chic elements, a rustic country vibe, and a fairytale atmosphere.”

Natasha & Jean-François

Deciding to marry where they first met Natasha and Jean-François organised an intimate and effortless destination wedding in France with lots of guests travelling from a far. Eventually settling on a romantic wedding in France, Natasha and Jean-François decided to have their wedding at a venue where they could spend a little longer than just the weekend at. See their real wedding featured on One Fab Day.

“Situated in the French countryside, about 20 minutes away from the city of Agen, the Château had such a romantic charm and tranquility to it that we fell in love with it upon our first visit.”
