Set in the quiet countryside of Lot-et-Garonne, this well-maintained property is just a short walk from the pretty village of Laugnac. Here you will find a bar, boulangerie and a church. The River Lot has canoeing, sailing and other activities such as boat trips and cruiser hire.

Also close by is the bustling town of Agen, with more than 40 picturesque and historic bastide towns to explore. A part of France renowned for its gastronomy, the daily morning farmers markets are a must for the visitor as well as all the local restaurants that cater to pretty much every budget and style.

History lovers may like to explore at least one of the historic bastide towns and villages nearby, the prettiest being Pujols and Penne d'Agenais. Keen golfers might like to visit the Golf d’Albret 18-hole golf course in Barbaste about 30 minutes away.

Surrounded by winery regions, Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion to the west, Cahors Malbecs to the East, and Buzet to the South, Château Lasfargues is actually in the middle of the Prune region; famous for its Prune d’Agen.
