The Château is set in the quiet countryside of the Lot-et-Garonne, just a short walk from the pretty village of Laugnac where you will find the fantastic La Florentine Boulangerie for morning patisseries, Minuit Cafe/Bar for an afternoon tipple, and lovely church to visit.
The bustling town of Agen is close by and there are over 40 picturesque and historic bastide towns to visit in the area.
A part of France renowned for its gastronomy, the daily morning farmers markets are a must for the visitor as well as all the local restaurants that cater to pretty much every budget and style.
Be sure to explore at least one of the historic bastide towns and villages nearby, the prettiest being Pujols and Penne d'Agenais.
The kids would love the adventure and fun at Park Walibi & Aqualand, located close by in Agen.
The Golf d’Albret 18 hole golf course in Barbaste is just over 30 minutes away. The River Lot has beaches, canoeing, sailing and other activities such as boat trips and cruiser hire, and there are Frescoes, Caves and Museums all within a short drive of the Chateau.
